            CAAS QCA (Quantitative Coronary Analysis) is the worldwide accepted standard for assessment of coronary artery dimensions. Our software can assist in the selection of the optimal balloon and stent. CAAS QCA features single vessel analysis including calibration, vessel border detection and quantification of the severity of stenosis.

            CAAS QCA 2D Bifurcation

            With CAAS QCA 2D Bifurcation, we have developed a dedicated QCA program to assess bifurcation lesions. CAAS QCA 2D Bifurcation is an option on the standard CAAS QCA software.

            Analysis of bifurcated arteries: coronary artery bifurcation lesions pose a major challenge for interventional cardiologists as percutaneous treatment of these lesions is associated with increased risks of complications. Evaluation of dedicated stenting devices, using the conventional QCA without dedicated bifurcation option, has limitations. This is due to vessel diameter changes over the bifurcation. Another complication lies in defining the true reference vessel size (healthy vessel) within the bifurcation area. You can overcome these limitations and achieve the most accurate bifurcation analysis by using CAAS QCA 2D Bifurcation

            CAAS QCA 3D

            CAAS QCA 3D (3 dimensional Quantitative Coronary Analysis) offers 3D analysis of single and bifurcated coronary arteries. Multiple X-ray projections are used to calculate the true geometric shape in 3D space. This eliminates foreshortening and out-of-plane magnification errors. QCA3D offers improved analysis results and a clear visualization of the geometry of difficult lesions. The optional real-time co-registration with IVUS or OCT adds an angiographic roadmap to the patient’s intravascular anatomy.

            Recent developments in valve replacements have intensified the use of advanced imaging techniques in the cathlab. But why not use the imaging technology already available for guidance and post procedural evaluation? CAAS A-Valve uses X-ray images to assist physicians during valve replacements. The optimal projection module helps to limit contrast use by determining the optimal projection to place the valve. After the procedure, the peri-prosthetic regurgitation can be quantified on the spot.

            Why not use the imaging technology already available for guidance and post procedural evaluation during valve replacements? CAAS A-Valve uses X-ray images to assist physicians during valve replacements. The optimal projection module helps to limit contrast use by determining the optimal projection to place the valve.

              CAAS A-Valve’s optimal projection module requires only two aortograms to:

            • Determine the optimal C-arm position for valve placement
            • Reconstruct the aortic root in 3D
            • Measure aortic root dimensions

            Scientific studies indicate that regurgitation after valve replacement has an effect on the long term clinical outcome. Thus, it is important to assess regurgitation directly after the procedure. Pie Medical Imaging has therefore developed the very first product that will visualize and quantify regurgitation on X-ray images. CAAS A-Valve uses X-ray images to assist physicians during valve replacements. The qRA module quantifies regurgitation immediately after placing the valve.
